Arsalan Nasir

Arsalan Nasir (b. 1990, Karachi) received his Master’s Degree in Art & Design Studies, from Beaconhouse National University in 2017 where he got UMMESA South Asia scholarship award. Had his BFA with Distinction from Department of Visual Studies, University of Karachi in 2013. He has exhibited his work in several distinct shows since graduation. Most recently, he participated in a group exhibition named, At Home, Curated by Sundas Azfer at Netherlands Embassy in Islamabad. He was a participant artist in first Sanat Residency at Karachi. Recently he did a residency at VASL in Karachi, by the name of Social Sculpture in collaboration with Heinrich Boll Stiftung. He is currently working as a scale model artist at KSEW Pakistan Navy. His work practicing includes Drawing, Paintings, sculptures, printmaking, installations and new media. His thrust to explore new techniques and mediums brought him to develop interactive technologies in fusion with the content of his ideas and thought process. |
