Alongside the VASL residencies we run an education and outreach programme. This varies depending on the expertise and interests of the artists invited. They take the form of
Artists-led workshops in art schools and art departments of universities
Seminars/artists’ talks for the general public
Off-site community projects
Outreach is an opportunity to plug the visiting artist into the local mainstream education system. The students as well as the artist enrich their understandings in a novel way through this exchange.
