Farrukh Adnan

Lahore, Pakistan

With the Bachelors Degree of Communication Design from National College of Arts, Lahore in 2009. Adnan practiced his graphic design skills for three years as a full time Visual artist in various Advertising Agencies and Design Houses. He also took up on a few projects as a design consultant. Along this, Adnan practices as a Photographer in public and art projects in Pakistan. Adnan got UNESCO Madanjeet’s Singh Institute for South Asian Studies (UMISAS) Scholarship for Masters in Art and Design Studies in Beaconhouse National University in 2012 and completed his master’s degree in 2014. After his degree in Visual Arts, he set up his own art studio and is teaching Photography and Graphic Design at National College of Arts, Lahore. As well, Adnan teaches Drawing Studio, History of Art and Graphic Design at National College of Business Administration and Economics, Lahore. Adnan’s visual practice on archiving the space and society that how socially and politically space or place changes and how history evolves in present times? Adnan participated in group exhibitions in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. He did his first solo exhibition at Sanat Initiative a year after he completed his Master’s Degree, in 2015. He exhibited his artwork twice in Voice Breaking Boundaries: Migration and Movement – Close Together in Houston, USA. Adnan currently had done work for Imago Mundi Project. Adnan living and practicing art in Lahore, Pakistan.
