Mubashar Iqbal is the recipient of the Vasl-KKAF Research Grant 2023-2024. Mubashar is based in Lahore. He has exhibited his works in several group shows across various galleries in Pakistan. Mubashar was also the resident artist for Vasl’s 15th Taaza Tareen residency, Nirala Sheher, The Peculiar City.
The Research Grant of 2023 – 2024 is comprised of 4 members, Amin Gulgee, Durriya Kazi, Sameera Raja & Sophia Balagamwala.
About Mubashar:
Born in 1992, Mubashar Iqbal graduated in Fine Arts (Painting) from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore. He has experimented with various art-oriented skills in his practice, completing several projects. Currently, Mubashar lives and works in Lahore, Pakistan.
