Rabia Ali

Karachi, Pakistan

Born in 1992, Rabia Ali is currently a visual artist, based in Karachi, Pakistan. She received her BFA with Distinction from the renowned Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Karachi in 2015. Ali majored in Painting and minored in Miniature Painting. Since then, Ali has participated in both national and international art exhibitions and workshops.

Her most recent exhibitions include ‘Return to Basics’ The Fine Print Box workshop organized by Vasl and the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture’s Printmaking Studio. The Workshop conducted by internationally recognized artists Damon Kowarsky, Hyun Ju Kim and Nurayah Sheikh.  “Crossing Borders” exhibited at Siddhartha Gallery, Kathmandu Nepal. She has also participated in “BARTR Art Residency 2016 Final Show” organized by Muvelodesi Szint (Muszi) in Budapest.

Locally, Ali has displayed at “VM Art Gallery’s “ A Stitch in Time and “Sleep, Inspiration, and Creativity” at Fomma Trust in 2017.
