My work explores that how our identity is our skin and how confined we live in it. We are like a hollow pipe living only skin-deep. It’s about the mental transformation of human beings that how we change and grow and yet are eroding and rusting from inside. I want to explore the opposition of confinement and ones mental transformation. The skin or texture in my works signifies identity. We are what others ‘See’ us as. This is the binary opposition I want to explore in my work. The process is ongoing and there is a need to understand the nature of things . My visual inspiration is from the body, and the texture/skin. I use photographic references for my work.
