Welcome to VASL Newsletter Online # 11

With every successive issue of our newsletter we find ourselves increasingly challenged with our political ground reality. Art becomes even more crucial in the chaos of social-transition/upheaval and change.

Pakistan refuses to budge from the frontline of international press!

We at VASL continue in our efforts to create a space where these challenges can be understood and a dialogue evolves within the society on the role of art and social change.

Pakistan has lost one of its most eminent artists to a brutal murder. Gulgee was admired and loved by followers all across the world. More on Gulgee on the VASL directory.

The Rangoonwala - Charles Wallace Residency at Gasworks is open for applications NOW! For details read below.

We are introducing a new chapter 'The Diasporics'  and would like to invite Pakistani artists based around the world to send in their details or website links for your web profile.
