As the financial crisis pressures economies across the world, attention is increasingly focused on the future of economic growth and particularly towards the creative industries and the knowledge economy.
What does this mean for our education systems? How can we teach our children to prepare for a world that is changing so quickly and put creativity to work within our teaching methods effectively?
‘Artists in Creative Education’ is an international programme by Creativity Culture and Education that in 2013 has been run as an international collaboration across the UK and Pakistan. In Karachi three local artists with CCE training are undertaking creative education workshops in five local schools. This event is an opportunity to learn from their experiences and that of their collaborators in England and here in Pakistan.
