International Artists' Residency Lahore - 2006
April 08 - May 07
The first VASL International Artists' Residency in Lahore created a platform for intensive exchange of ideas and art practice, contributing towards building art and culture in Pakistan . Artists working together in close proximity for a sustained period allowed person to person exchange of ideas, information, and cultural understanding.
In a small but significant way VASL has consistently contributed to a better understanding and projection of artists through international exchange and has also created opportunities for the exposure of Pakistani artists worldwide.
Vasl Lahore works under the umbrella of VASL Karachi, which is a registered organization.
