Waba Kay Dor Mein – Reflections After the Pandemic
About
This project has successfully concluded in collaboration with Open Society Foundation, resulting in a thoughtfully curated anthology of short stories by writers who engaged deeply with the themes of the Covid-19 pandemic. Over the course of a year, participating writers reflected on their experiences and explored various facets of the crisis—ranging from lockdowns and health challenges to changing social dynamics and personal decisions.
The stories and essays written in both English and Urdu, capture a wide spectrum of responses—some direct, others subtly woven through narratives of resilience, adaptation, and hope.
We express our gratitude to all the writers for their meaningful contributions and to everyone involved in bringing this inspiring anthology to life.
