Asad Nizamani, born in 1993 in Hyderabad, Sindh, is a multidisciplinary visual artist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, in 2016, specializing in Painting, and also obtained a diploma in Calligraphy. Later, he pursued and completed his Master of Art and Design Studies (MA ADS) from Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore.
Nizamani’s work, as he describes it, employs strategies of modifying the familiar to create multiple layers of meaning. His art explores how our beliefs influence and shape the immediate reality around us.
