Ayesha Chandio is a Karachi-based visual artist. She graduated from the University of Karachi with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Chandio draws her inspiration from the intersection of dreams and reality, translating them into vibrant, surrealistic paintings and fluid animations that are visual representations of her inner world. With a unique style that blends the abstract and the real, her art invites viewers into a dreamlike state.
She has exhibited her work at the Sharjah Focal Point and several local group exhibitions. Chandio’s work has also been featured in Manachi, a collaborative book between young artists for the Our Shared Culture and Heritage program by the British Council of Pakistan and the State Bank Museum.
Beyond the studio, Ayesha brings her whimsical style to children’s book illustrations and is affiliated with the Ministry of Arts’ online art school, sharing her passion with young, budding artists. She’s also a vital member of the core team at Vasl Artists’ Association, where she thrives on the hustle and excitement leading up to a major exhibit.
