Bernhard Frue is a Austrian male artist born in Bad Radkersburg, Steiermark (AT) in 1968.
Bernhard Frue’s first verified exhibition was Künstlerhouse at Künstlerhaus Wien in Vienna in 1996, and the most recent exhibition was Konfrontationen at forum frohner in Krems in 2024. Bernhard Frue is most frequently exhibited in Austria, but also had exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland and elsewhere. Frue has at least 13 solo shows and 52 group shows over the last 28 years (for more information, see exhibitions). Frue has also been in no less than 6 art fairs but in no biennials. A notable show was Bernhard Fruehwirth – Have A Psychotic Day! at Neue Galerie Graz – Universalmuseum Joanneum in Graz in 1998. Other notable exhibitions were at Belvedere 21 in Vienna and Künstlerhaus Wien in Vienna. Bernhard Frue has been exhibited with Christina Zurfluh and Heimo Zobernig. Bernhard Frue’s art is in at least one museum collection, at Kunstverein Medienturm in Graz.
