Bushra Khalid is a Norway-based Pakistani visual artist with a Master of Fine Arts from Kunstakademiet i Trondheim (NTNU). Her multidisciplinary practice encompasses painting, sculpture, and performance, weaving intricate narratives around themes of neurodiversity, mythology, socio-political commentary, and environmental decay.
Her work has earned recognition, including being nominated for the Fredrik Roos Grant (2025), the Best 10 Artworks award from the Lahore Art Council (2020), and the Arjumand Merit Prize (2017). Her artistic journey includes solo exhibitions in Pakistan and group shows across multiple countries. She participated in notable residencies such as Suspended Homes (Bergen, Norway), Art for Snow Leopard Conservation (Hopar, Pakistan), Taaza Tareen 11 (Karachi, Pakistan), and Karbath 01 (Lahore, Pakistan).In addition to her studio practice, her three years of experience as a lecturer in fine arts have enriched her perspective, allowing her to mentor students and explore the interplay between pedagogy and creative expression.
