Wajeeha Abbasi is a multidisciplinary artist, designer and illustrator based in Toronto, Canada. Her work bridges ideas through visual storytelling, focusing on people, places, social issues, and self-image and the philosophy of Self and the Other.
Abbasi has received the Ladybird Books Publications Award and has exhibited her work at Art Toronto, Now Gallery, Vasl Art Gallery, and London Design Festival. She has collaborated with renowned brands such as NASA, Coca-Cola, the British Council, Red Bull, and UN Women among others.
With a Master’s degree from the University of the Arts London and a Bachelor’s from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, she has cultivated a distinctive creative voice that has shaped her roles as a Brand Designer alongside her independent creative practice.
Outside of work, Abbasi enjoys discovering new music, attending concerts, screen and relief printing, exploring creative mediums, and traveling.
