Born on 12th July 1992, Hamza Rana is an aspiring mix media visual artist graduated from Beaconhouse National University in 2015 and did his Master’s in Art and Design MAADS in 2024 and worked as an instructor at Beaconhouse National University from 2016 – 2022 and 2024 – 2025, Hamza’s work is mostly installation, sculptural, dealing with relationship between the materials chosen and the surrounding space, his works are often punctuated by the use of ordinary and the mundane, to create dismantled composition as a commentary on the construction process itself, coupled with the connotations of the objects used, the final image contributes towards a deeper understanding of both the work and process, themes related to time, culture, and historical context all come into play – a reflection by the artist on the fragmented nature of the spaces around him.
