Through repeated documentation during her daily routes, Jovita Alvares explores the nuances of urbanism and the constant shift of ecology in her surrounding landscape. She retraces her routes, recalling on memories of the past, while exploring the ephemerality of the present. Alvares aims at understanding the durability and replication of her work. Though the final image could possibly be reproduced, the process by which each work is created can never be, even by the artist herself. At each stage of the process, Alvares inserts her own humanistic touch.
