Abdul Ali Hyder

Abdul Ali Hyder (b. Larkana 1990) is a printmaker based in Lahore, Hyder graduated from National Collage of Arts, Lahore in fine arts with Honors in 2015. Hyder’s monochromatic work is about a visual study and investigation informed by memories. He received young artist award at Alhamra, Lahore. His selected exhibitions include, ‘Before There was a Monsoon’ at Gandhara Art Space, Karachi, Faculty Exhibition Islamabad Art Festival at PNCA Islamabad. He is also part of a traveling show IPEP Microcosm curated by Lina Vincent in India, Poland, Turkey, and USA. Configuration at Tanzara Gallery Islamabad and Open Field at PNCA Islamabad, besides the exhibitions Hyder selected printmaker in Residence at Inkster print studio Lahore, and artist in residence at Tasweer Ghar Lahore. Besides his practice he worked as a master printmaker with an international artist Rachid Koraïchi with his project for LBF 2020. Hyder also is co-managing a Printmaking studio, (Inkster print studio) in Lahore since, 2017. He is currently visiting faculty in the Department of Fine Arts, National College of Arts Rawalpindi.
