Mahrang Anwer is an artist, designer, and educator based in Lahore. She studied Fashion Design at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) and earned a diploma from École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. After starting her career as a fashion journalist, she founded Color Coded Crime, a sustainable South Asian heritage brand.
Her recent exhibitions include the Friday Gallery in Los Angeles, VASL x British Council, and Gasworks London. In 2020, she participated in the Lahore Biennale. Alongside her teaching role in final-year fashion at the National College of Arts (NCA), she serves as the creative director of her brand and actively practices as an artist. She is also committed to sustainability advocacy and South Asian contributions to design and art, integrating these efforts into her curriculum at NCA.
