Artist and curator, Masuma has had seven solo shows and her artworks have been part of Biennales, Art Fairs and group shows in Pakistan and abroad.
Her artworks are held in private collections in Dubai, Qatar, Germany Denmark, Singapore, England, Canada, USA and Pakistan. Masuma was a Visiting Artist Fellow at The Laxmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute in spring 2025. She has won many awards, the most recent being The Excellence Award at the 9th and 11th Fiber Art Biennales in China in 2016 and 2020. She has curated art shows in Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Belgium. Masuma is a founder member of the Karachi Biennale and was Chairperson of its Public Outreach Committee in 2017. Masuma has worked on projects with Mediamatic-Amsterdam and Transforming Narratives, England. In 2018 Masuma co-authored a book titled; ‘Public Art, Thriving in Urban Chaos’
