A Memory Catcher Visited My Town
The exhibition of Karachi-based visual artist Zahabia Khozema presents a body of work rooted in the stories, memories, and emotions of a boy growing up in an industrial town in Central Punjab, Pakistan. Through poetic narratives and imagined encounters, Khozema reflects on a landscape transformed by capitalist erasure, economic violence, and climate change, where memory becomes a way of preserving places, people, and histories that are steadily disappearing.
