Fatima Ali (b.1999) is a Lahore-based visual artist. She completed her BFA in Visual Arts with a distinction and gold medal from Beaconhouse National University. Working with soot, found objects, and elements of robotics, her current practice investigates environmental degradation, material instability, and human impact on ecological systems. Fatima continues developing transdisciplinary approaches as she looks into how art might exist outside the logic of permanence, while operating within a world that demands it. Ali contributed to Hadeer Omar’s Fragmented Realities, exhibited at Doha Fire Station, along with a project for the UNESCO Chair on Inclusion Through Art curated by Rashid Rana, Risham Syed, and Waleed Zafar. Her work has appeared in the ADA Iconica 75th edition. She was an artist in residence at Vasl Artists’ Association, Karachi, for the Taaza Tareen 2026 cycle.
