Izzah Awan is a 24 year old artist who spends more time in imagined worlds than the real one. If you’re looking for her on a map, she’s based in Islamabad, Pakistan, and graduated in Fine Arts from Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Karachi (2024). Her practice moves between acrylic painting and digital illustration or animation, often blending the two mediums to explore dreamy, surreal environments. Whether through a brush or a pen on a screen, Izzah creates works that reflect her
fascination with escapism and the spaces we build inside our minds. Inspired by the digital media of the 2000s, her palette often consists of saturated hues. She has exhibited her work internationally, in a group exhibition in New York with Daira Global, as well as at VM and Art Lane Gallery in Karachi, while undertaking select commissions.
