Saleena Shahid is a visual artist who works and lives in Lahore, Pakistan. From a very young age she developed an understanding regarding arts as she belongs to an artistic and literary family. She recently completed her Master of Visual Arts from National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her bachelor’s in Fine Arts from University of the Punjab College of Art and Design in 2015.
She taught miniature painting as a visiting lecturer at Punjab University College of Art and Design in 2016. Saleena has participated in several group shows locally and internationally in renowned galleries including VM Art Gallery, Mussawir Art Gallery, Full Circle Gallery, Artscene Gallery, Studio 46, Tagheer Lahore, Numaishgah, Satrang Gallery, Kaleido Kontemporary Art Gallery, Arjumand Painting Award 2023, Art Den Dubai, Ejaz Art Gallery, Khaas Contemporary, Vasal Artist Association collaboration with The Repair Atelier, Oart Space, Collateral Exhibition of NCA Triennale at Tagheer Lahore, ZQ Gallery Lahore. Currently she is working at Tagh’eer Lahore and The Art Edit Advisory as Senior Project Manager.
