Muhammad Sufyan Baig, who is based in Dubai, uses video to create poetic sequences exploring social and historical aspects of everyday life.
His work focuses on ordinary objects and gestures delving into themes of identity, memory, and societal inequalities. Baig assumes multiple roles in his artistry: storyteller, initiator of encounters, intimate observer, and detached bystander, reflecting on his position as an artist and the complexities of human experience.
