Syed Hassan Mujtaba is a visual artist living and working in Lahore. He completed his BFA in Visual Arts from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. Mujtaba has established his art practice in the symbolic significance of imagery and the visual experience in mediums such as photography, video, drawing and installation. In 2011, Mujtaba was part of Vasl International Residency along with artists from Iran, Turkey and South Africa, which was held in Islamabad. As an assistant professor and visiting faculty, Mujtaba conducts drawing studios and lectures at Comsats University, Lahore and Beaconhouse National University to date. He has been exhibiting nationally and internationally a along with his academic endeavours.
