(b. 2001, Pakistan) is a Lahore-based visual artist with a BFA in Painting from the National College of Arts. Her work explores mundane moments in daily life, family archives, and the concept of home, using mediums such as drawing with paint, video art, and projections. Through observation, documentation and drawings, Mazhar captures the overlooked intricacies of everyday life and social invisibilities.
She has exhibited her work in numerous galleries, including Canvas Gallery, COMO Museum of Art, Khaas Contemporary, VASL Artists’ Association, Lahore Digital Festival, and Zahoor ul Akhlaq Gallery. Mazhar has also participated in the Our Shared Cultural Heritage (OSCH) project in Lahore and Glasgow.
She is currently co-teaching a drawing course in the Fine Arts Department at the National College of Arts, Lahore and is the resident artist for Taza Tareen 17 at Vasl Artists’ Association, Karachi.
