Playground

This exhibition brings together practices attentive to the shifting relationship between experience, memory, and imagination. Across painting, video, and mixed media, familiar places, forms, and fragments are unsettled into something less certain, at once recalled and invented. The works move between the tangible and the imagined, tracing how perception is shaped as much by what is remembered and overlooked as by what the mind continues to construct.Here, play is understood not as an activity or a state of innocence, but as a mode of thinking, an openness to possibility, transformation, and alternative ways of seeing. In this space between recognition and invention, the familiar is allowed to become something else.
