Annemarie Schimmel Haus
In collaboration with Annemarie Schimmel Haus, Vasl Lahore initiated a two week project, facilitated by Huma Mulji, which brought together twenty three artists under one umbrella. The alternate format of the residency and the collaborative spirit of the large number of artists working together created one of the most memorable residency experience.
The outcome of the residency was a site-specific exhibition in which viewers could navigate the walled city of Lahore and other locations where the artists had installed work. The show continued at Alhamra Art Gallery, Lahore, where some of the non-site specific work, documentation of performances, events and art works were exhibited.
